On the morning of March 3, a delegation of four from Gushi Biological Group, including Executive General Manager Yu Junguang, R&D Center Project Director Liu Shuangshuang, Procurement Center Senior Manager Ding Qingling, and HR Supervisor Li Jiaojiao, visited our college for research and exchange. The meeting was attended by Xu Shenghua, Party Branch Secretary of the College of Food Engineering, Vice Dean Zhao Jing, department heads, and graduate counselors.
During the meeting, Secretary Xu Shenghua expressed hopes of leveraging the respective strengths of both parties to deepen cooperation in areas such as student employment, the establishment of industry-academia collaboration bases, and project partnerships.Vice Dean Zhao Jing highlighted that as one of the first private institutions in China accredited to cultivate master’s degree students in professional programs, the college has trained over 120 high-level professionals in the field of food engineering to date. She further expressed the desire to strengthen collaboration with Gushi Group in technological research and development projects as well as in the cultivation of graduate students.
Executive General Manager Yu Junguang introduced Gushi Group as a National Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization with 30 subsidiary companies. He noted that the company is currently at a critical stage of development, facing a significant demand for multidisciplinary talents, and expressed eagerness to collaborate with the College of Food Engineering in building a platform for talent development and student employment. The exchange covered various aspects, including student internships, employment, and scientific research collaboration, resulting in a consensus on mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.
