On the morning of April 2, 2025, Zhou Tao, Director of Xiqingri Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., and Mei Xiaonan, Group HR Manager, visited our college for inspection and exchange. The meeting was attended by Xu Shenghua, Party Branch Secretary of the College of Food Engineering; Zhao Jing, Vice Dean; Zhang Junshan, Deputy Director of the Food Science and Engineering Department; and Xie Tongtong,a 2022 counselor.
During the symposium, Secretary Xu Shenghua elaborated on the university’s development history and its distinctive positioning as an application-oriented institution. He highlighted the college’s research strengths in food science, processing technology, and quality safety, as well as its platform resources for industry-academia integration. Zhou Tao, Director of Xiqingri Supply Chain, introduced the group’s scale and corporate culture. He noted that as a leading domestic food supply chain service provider, the company shares the same founding ethos as East University of Heilongjiang. He expressed willingness to provide internship and employment platforms and looked forward to collaborating through a joint talent cultivation mechanism to precisely align with industry needs and explore an "industry-tailored" talent development model.
Through this engagement, both parties decided to further deepen long-term and stable cooperation. Specific plans were confirmed, including a return visit by the college to the enterprise and the company’s specialized recruitment presentations at the university. Consensus was also reached on establishing internship bases and developing collaborative scientific research projects.
