From October 13th to 15th, Vice President Cheng Yanjiang and his delegation attended the 14th China-Russia University Presidents Forum held in Khabarovsk, Russia. The forum was initiated by the alliance of universities from Northeast China and the Far East and Siberia regions of Russia. It is held every two years, alternating between the cities where the founding institutions—Northeast Agricultural University and Pacific National University—are located.
At the opening ceremony of the forum, the host reviewed the development journey and current achievements of the alliance. Representatives from some member universities delivered thematic presentations on the latest trends in international exchange and cooperation. During the alliance meeting session, ceremonies were held to admit new members and confer honorary doctoral degrees.
